A new Billboard 200 update kept BTS at the top for a third straight week, as their album ARIRANG held the No. 1 spot again in the United States. The latest chart frame gave the group another major milestone in a comeback cycle that has already drawn strong sales and streaming numbers.
This week’s chart count placed ARIRANG ahead of several major releases and made it the first K-pop album to spend three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album posted 124,000 equivalent album units for the tracking week, with 71,000 coming from album sales and 50,000 from streaming equivalent units.
The Billboard 200 measures overall album performance in the U.S. by combining sales, track purchases, and streaming activity. For BTS, the latest result adds another record to a long list of chart achievements and shows that demand for the group remains high after their return.
The run also gives BTS three straight weeks atop the chart for the first time, adding another landmark moment to the group’s U.S. chart history.
