Warner Records was recognized as the label honoree at the 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame Gala, adding another chapter to the company’s long history in recorded music.
During the event, Aaron Bay-Schuck, co-chairman and CEO of Warner Records Group, reflected on guidance he received from Mo Ostin, one of the label’s most influential past leaders. The message centered on artist trust, creative freedom, and building a place where musicians feel supported enough to take risks.
The honor pointed to Warner’s decades-long role in shaping popular music. Its catalog has included work connected to major names across rock, pop, R&B, and alternative music, including Prince, Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Neil Young.
The gala also celebrated the latest Grammy Hall of Fame inductees, while Teddy Swims and Josh Groban performed as part of the tribute to Warner Records.
For the label, the recognition was less about one era and more about a culture built around artists and the music they leave behind.
