Peacock renewed The Paper for a second season, just one day before the series premiere. The Office universe spin-off, co-created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, has earned strong early buzz, prompting the early renewal. The series stars Domhnall Gleeson as Ned Sampson, a salesman tasked with saving a small market newspaper. Despite employing only a couple reporters, Ned is determined to revive the Toledo Truth-Teller. The Paper features several Office alumni, including Oscar Nuñez reprising his role.
