Freddy Mac was born and raised in PG County, Maryland. He knew he wanted to pursue a career in radio at 10 years old, when he started doing the morning announcements at school. He would often steal his mother’s blank (sometimes not) cassette tapes in order to record the local radio DJs from his boom box…and call into the station to request songs and attempt to win contests. Freddy is a force behind the microphone and in front of any crowd. He aims to inspire everyone he comes in contact with, through his upbeat personality, smile, and "can-do" attitude. ​When Freddy isn’t on the air, he enjoys dining out with family and friends, live entertainment, and adding to his shoe collection. He also DJs just about any event under the sun. Freddy is also a father to his toddler son, Camden! He's also new to the "Plant Dad" life as well!

Jay Styles is tall, gregarious, loud, fun loving, curious human who loves the Roanoke Valley! Jay is a foodie and will try ANYTHING at least once!!! Originally from New York, Jay has lived in 12 states and 2 countries (USA and Cayman Islands) and loves to travel! A champion for Mental Health, Jay has worked alongside NAMI and the AFSP to promote awareness and to help educate the public!

Thank you for coming by my little space here in the digital world. I'll keep it brief as I'd love for you to get to know me organically through my social media channels. I'm originally from NOVA, and also went to high school and college there. The DMV is also where I got my start in radio. I've worked in Washington DC, Chicago, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle. So, it's really cool how things ended up full circle right back to Virginia where I'm originally from. I'm a simple, quirky, creative, and empathetic guy in a nutshell. I'm a big sneaker collector, I love Rom-Coms, love coffee and of course all foods. I especially enjoy creating fun, relatable content that makes people laugh. I genuinely love getting to know people from all walks of life because I feel like if we're not experiencing each other's differences then how is that living? I'd love to hear from ya ! Kidd Carter still works here? Why yes he does, and we're still not sure why he won't leave. Kidd Carter originally came to K92 in the year 2000 as a part time weekend personality. There was nothing full time available, and he eventually moved to NC for another radio job. That opportunity didn't last even 2 years, and home was calling, so Kidd came back to K92 in October of 2003 to do random weekend shifts once again until a full time opportunity came available in August of 2004. Kidd Carter was offered the midday shift from 10am-2pm as well as the station's Promotions Director...and he took it. He would remain at those positions until May of 2015 where he decided to get his real estate license and become a Realtor. He also runs and operates Blue Ridge Entertainment, one of the largest mobile DJ companies in Virginia. Kidd believes radio is in your blood. Once it gets in you, you don't want to get it out...so he still maintains a minor role on the K92 airwaves. When he's not on the radio, you'll find him typically showing a house, playing someone in a pool game, or hanging out at the lake.

Here are the basics… Open House Party is THEE ORIGINAL Saturday night party show for hit music radio stations. It’s broadcast Saturday and Sunday nights all across North America. It’s listener interactive, with tons of listener requests, and it’s hosted by one of the most respected deejays in pop music, Kannon. The show was founded in 1987 by radio legend John Garabedian who hosted the show successfully for decades. Kannon, originally from North Carolina, actually grew up listening to Open House Party while in high school. He lives in Atlanta now, but he’s been on the air in Dallas and Philadelphia, among others.
