A spokesperson for Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital tells WFIR News emergency crews responded to a fire today inside a mechanical room. No evacuation was necessary, and no injuries were reported. The hospital is assessing impacts of a partial power disruption that resulted from the event and don’t anticipate major disruptions to regular operations at this time.
